Welcome to Back To Nature Camp.

Back to Nature Camp is located in Nainital district of Uttrakhand. It's on Bhimtal - Khutani - Mukteshwar road. It's about a 7-hour drive from Delhi (or a comfortable overnight journey by train). So it's an ideal weekend getaway.

We can boast of an abundance of natural beauty and solitude around us as we are situated away from maddening crowd and at the same time we promise loads of adventure and trekking possibilities. You can even work at our farm or at the cowshed. For those longing for silence, they can just relax at our vista point or spot a variety of exotic Himalayan birds. You can also visit the village and interact with locals to learn more about their culture.

    Birder's Paradise

Our camp is located in a village named Alchona which attracts various migratory birds like Blue Magpie, Blue Whistling Thrush, Graceful Prinia, Grey Bushchat, Grey Wagtail, Oriental White eye, Red Rumped Swallow, Russet Sparrow, Scarlet Minivet, Streak Throated Woodpecker, Tawny Eagle, White Breasted Kingfisher, White Browed Wagtail, Yellow Billed Blue Magpie, Yellow Vented Himalayan Bulbul, etc. Please visit our Birder's Corner .

    Unmatched Natural Beauty

River Kalsa flows through the village. The village itself is famous as it is on a rich agricultural belt in Kumaon. Tomatoes are the primary produce while potatoes, beans, cabbage, peas are also cultivated year-round.

    A bit about our camp

We are a mix of dreamers and professionals running this camp. We are very fortunate to have a good working chemistry between us to make it an eclectic place to be. You can experience the joy of doing just nothing or you can indulge in various heart-pounding adventure activities like Rock climbing, Rappelling, Jumaring, Flying-fox, River Crossing, River and Jungle treks apart from Bird watching.

Camp is just a seven-hour drive from Delhi so it's a good weekend getway and gives an opportunity to be in the lap of nature, be ourselves and rejuvenate our senses. Sit by the bonfire in the evening, singing or just listening to the river flowing closeby. Camp is good for kids, families and single travellers. Since we stress on being with nature, we do not have electricity so no television or electronic music.
